Can we sell more without changing the prices?

On April 26th I had the honor of moderating a panel at the IE, in its twentieth automotive forum. The issue we dealt with was whether, outside of price, we can do to be the ones who sell cars. To discuss this, we had the heads of a group of dealers, a consumer financial and a leasing company.
The dealers in Brazil increased more rapidly than sales

The number of dealers in Brazil in 2011 grew 12%. This increase has a direct impact on brand value for the customer. But this increase (up to 4,300 points of sale) does not correspond exactly with the market growth, which was 2.9% (3.42 million vehicle sales). On that basis, the average of sales each distribution point fell by 8.5%.

The wave of Internet and social networks has also drawn to automotive customers. Although many have not purchased online, 75% already used it as a means of information that directly affects their purchase decision. And 37% of buyers have Facebook profile.
