The video is very graphic of the advantages of the concept to both the driver and the passenger, but it is surprising that no manufacturer has decided to incorporate it.
Maybe it’s something of the insurance companies, which do not want to lose their huge profits with the small but frequent metal-paint repairs on the doors slammed against other cars parked in parallel
Or maybe it’s a problem of lack of security because the conventional door structure would provide greater strength to the body
Maybe it’s a cumbersome system in rainy or extremely cold days ... It is unknown, but the fact is that there are no cars in the market as those shown in the video demonstration of this "revolutionary" business
