With over 24.000 members, AECOC is one of the largest business associations in Spain. It assists manufacturers and distributors in working jointly for the improvement of the sector in order to provide greater value to the consumer. Born to promote the introduction of bar coding into Spain, it has grown to be an association that offers both the industry and distribution a cooperation framework to reach the consumer in the most efficient way.

The Association of Spanish Supermarket Chains (ACES) represents and defends the joint interests of distribution companies operating as supermarkets, members of the employers’ association.

The the ACES member companies have 5.370 establishments throughout Spain, out of which 1.459 are franchises. These establishments account for 27.65% of all organized food store formats existing in Spain.

ASEDAS is the Spanish Association of Distributors, Convenience Stores and Supermarkets. It is the employers’ organization in Spain for the food distribution sector, and was founded in the 90s to stand for the rights of its members before government administrations, social agencies and private entities.
