Energy and Industry

The Spanish National Energy Commission is the regulator of energy systems in Spain. Its objectives are to ensure effective competition in energy systems (electricity market, liquid and gaseous hydrocarbons markets) and the objectivity and transparency of its operation.

The Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade is the Department of Spanish Central Government responsible for proposing and implementing government policy on industrial development and innovation, trade policy, for small and medium enterprises, energy and mining , tourism, telecommunications and information society.
